It's November and it's a crazy time to be a business owner and an American right now.


No matter what you're selling, we've found some prompts that may help your business brighten up the news feed even just a little bit.


30 Thanksgiving “thankful” story content prompts for businesses/coaches for November 2025


These are only suggestions. Please make them your own!

Here are some thoughtful content prompts for 2025 while we navigate this crazy time as business owners.


  1. Customer firsts. “This year we’re grateful for the firsts you gave us. We had our first order from [city], first 5-star review from [name], first time we sold out was[insert] What was your ‘first’ this year?”

  2. The tough season that taught us. “We’re thankful for the slow weeks that forced us to sharpen our craft. What slow season taught you something important?”

  3. Supply-chain shout-out. “Grateful for the unseen hands the drivers, packers, and suppliers who got [product] to our door so we could get it to yours.”

  4. Local helpers. “Thankful for the community leaders who step up when things get messy from teachers to food bank crews. Tag a local helper we should thank.”

  5. Customers who gave grace. “When shipping slipped or tech glitched, you gave us grace. Today we’re grateful for patience and we’re paying it forward with [small gesture/discount/donation].”

  6. A moment that changed our team. “One story from this year that made us better humans at work was [brief story]. What moment changed you?”

  7. Small wins wall. “We’re grateful for the tiny wins that stack: on-time deliveries, kind emails, team inside jokes. Drop a small win from your week.”

  8. Frontline appreciation. “To nurses, servers, drivers, and retail crews working holidays. We see you. We’re donating [amount/hours] to [cause] in your honor.” (Suggestion)

  9. Customer spotlight. “Meet [customer], who trusted us during [challenge]. We’re thankful for your courage and partnership.”

  10. Learning from feedback. “This review stung and then helped. We’re thankful for honest feedback that made [process] better.”

  11. Resilience reel. “One time, I wanted to quit. But here is what I learned... What kept you going this year?”

  12. Vendors & partners. “Grateful for partners who answer late texts and early emails. Tag a partner who made your work easier.”

  13. Team unseen roles. “Thank you to the ‘quiet roles’ From bookkeeping, cleaning, Qualtiy assurance that keeps our products functional and to our customers that keep the lights on and the wheels turning.”

  14. A customer’s world. “We’re grateful for what our product helped you do: [customer story; serve more clients, spend more time with family, feel proud].”

  15. Community safety net. “Thankful for local nonprofits that step in when times are unpredictable. We’re matching donations to [org] this week.” It's best to work with an organization when you do this. Most companies don't time to advertise that you are helping them, but they should provide you with a logo to work with when doing your campaign. Canva and Adobe Spark have great templates to use. If you're not a designer, don't re-invent the wheel. Use templates.

  16. Lessons from loss/change. “We said goodbye to [thing/team member/process]. We’re grateful for what it taught us and what it made room for.”

  17. First-time buyer note. “If this was your first purchase with us this year we want to thank you. You’re the reason small businesses keep showing up.”

  18. Return/repair gratitude. “We’re grateful for second chances. From returns and repairs that became relationships. Perfection isn’t the goal; trust is. We are thankful for anyone that listened to any complaint we've ever made, and had a conversation with us, and made it right. You're the true hero.

  19. Team family moments. “Behind every shift is a family making it work. We’re grateful for the partners, parents, roommates, and sitters who make our work possible.”

  20. Crisis to craft. “When the news feels heavy, we’re grateful for work that lets us serve, not just sell. How did your work serve someone this month?”

  21. Customer-created innovations. “You asked for [feature/flavor/option]; we built it. Grateful for customers who co-create with us.”

  22. Gratitude for time. “We don’t take your time lightly. We are so thankful for all of the scrolling, clicking, visiting. Thank you for spending minutes with our little corner of the internet.”

  23. Shout-out to small biz peers. “Grateful for fellow small businesses who lent advice, tools, or a spare hand. Tag one we should amplify.”

  24. Sustainability steps. “We’re thankful we cut [waste/packaging/emissions] by [X%]. Small steps, real impact.”

  25. Second jobs & side hustles. “Many of our team juggle school, caregiving, or side hustles. We’re grateful for their hustle and heart.”

  26. ‘You kept us open.’ “When budgets were tight, your orders kept our lights on. We won’t forget it.”

  27. Service moments, not transactions. “The best part of this year wasn’t a sale... it was [service moment: rushing an order for a memorial, donating to a classroom, etc.].”

  28. Grateful for disagreement. “We had hard debates about [policy/price/ethics]. We’re thankful for a team that argues with respect and lands on better.”

  29. Holiday workers plan. “We’re grateful for staff working the holiday. Here’s our plan to care for them: [short list: shorter shifts, bonus, meals, childcare help].”

  30. Open thread of thanks. “What (or who) are you thankful for this year? Drop a note and we’ll randomly pick comments to spotlight and gift.” Optional ***
